Betty Darlene Sherman was born on August 24, 1928 in Mullen, NE to Enoch and Sylvia Phipps. She passed away on October 13, 2013 at the Brown County Hospital in Ainsworth at the age of 85. She is survived by her sons, Randy Swanson from North Platte, Gary Swanson from Valentine, and Elvis Sherman from Denver - and one sister, Wilma Guethlein from North Platte.
Betty was a wonderful mother to all of her boys, and a dear friend to all who knew her.
Memorial service for Betty was held on Wednesday, October 16 at Sandoz Chapel of the Pines. Rev. Kory Jenkins officiated at the 2:00 PM service.
