Funeral service for Clarence Hayford will be held at 2:00 P.M. March 31, 2014 at the Assembly of God Church in Valentine. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.

Clarence Granderson Hayford the son of Harold and Ella (Miller) Hayford was born July 29, 1934 in Valentine, NE. He attended school through the 8th grade. Clarence made his living farming and ranching. He enjoyed gardening and loved the country especially when he could be around horses.

Clarence married Mary Krzyzanowski on September 16, 1974 in Winner, South Dakota. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Valentine.

Clarence passed away March 23, 2014 at his home in Valentine, with his family at his side. He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Ella Hayford, sisters Grace Davis, and Louise Page and brothers Melvin Hayford, Cliff Hayford, Ernest Hayford, Howard Hayford and Nate Hayford. He is survived by wife Mary of Valentine, son Steve Hayford of Oklahoma, Roseada Bennett of Ozark, AR .and Amy Reifers of Valentine, grandchildren; Shannon Brasseaux, Cody Hayford, Angela Reifers, Jessica Reifers, Michael Reifers and many adopted grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers Leonard Hayford of Hampton, VA, Marvin Hayford of Sturgis, SD and Alfred Hayford of Valentine, NE.
