Dale James Morgan was born on October 14, 1944 in Valentine, NE.  Dale was the youngest of 7 children, born to Jennings and Helen (Parker) Morgan.

Dale attended elementary school in Wood Lake.  He worked on the family ranch for years and later worked at a couple a different feed yards.  He moved back to Valentine and worked at the Valentine Livestock Auction Barn.  He always looked forward to sale day.

When Dale retired, he lived at Oak Wood Assisted Living in Valentine and later, moved to Cherry Hills, where he enjoyed the soft serve ice cream.

Dale was a member of the Catholic Church.  He loved word searches and coloring pictures.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Art, Wayne and Paul; and sisters, Ruth Linabery and Shirley Ann.  He is survived by his brother, Clarence and sister-in-laws, Doris Morgan, Della Morgan and brother-in-law, Leo Linabery.

Funeral service for Dale Morgan age 78 of Valentine, NE will be held on Monday, Dec. 19, 2022 at 10:30 AM at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Valentine.  Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, Dec. 18 ^th at 3:00 PM at Sandoz Chapel of the Pines in Valentine.  Mr. Morgan passed away on Dec. 13 at the Cherry County Hospital in Valentine.
