Dick Witt was born to Walt and Grace (Taye) Witt on April 12, 1940 in Ainsworth, Nebraska.  He attended Ainsworth School.   Dick worked at Ford Motor's in Ainsworth detailing cars.

He later made his home in Valentine, Nebraska to be closer to family.  As time went on he went to Oakwood Assisted Living on April 11, 2011.  That is where he resided until his death on September 19, 2020 at age 80.

Dick's hobby was collecting trucks.  His greatest joy was being with Craig touring the city and visiting family.  He loved his Nieces and Nephews and was very fond of dogs.

He leaves to morn his Brother Bob and sister-in-law Elsie Witt and his sister Judy Mayhew and a host of Nieces and Nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Grace Witt, Sisters Jackie Fowler, and Shirley Witt and Brothers Walter and Kenny Witt.  Dick will be missed by everyone.

A memorial graveside service was held Friday September 25 ^th at Ainsworth South Cemetery.  Sandoz Chapel of the Pines was entrusted with service arrangements
