Donald Floyd Marshall passed away January 6, 2023 at Gordon Countryside Care.  Don was born March 10, 1931 in Hyannis Nebraska.  He went to country school in Whitman and graduated high school in Hyannis.

After high school he worked on the family ranch with his Dad.  Don married Janis (Carlson) February 14, 1956.  Started ranching with his Granddad Fred Marshall.  In 1969 they moved to Cody to manage the Metz Ranch.  He retired in1996 and moved to town.   Don loved trail rides, coyote hunting,and riding a good horse.  Don was proud of his family and loved any chance to hook up his team and wagon and fill it with family and share stories.  He is preceded in death by his parents Floyd Joseph Marshall and Cleo Mable.  Don is survived by his wife Janis Jean Marshall, children Taylor (Paula), James (Kathy), Duane (Dana) and Holly (Matt) Fay..

13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren.  Brother, Dean Marshall and sister, Wanda Johnson.

Funeral service for Don Marshall age 91 of Cody will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Valentine Methodist Church in Valentine.  Burial will be at a later date.  Visitation will be on Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 2:00 PM at Sandoz Chapel of the Pines.  Mr. Marshall passed away on Jan. 6 at the Countryside Care Center in Gordon, NE.

Graveside memorial service for Donald Marshall age 91 of Cody will be held on Tuesday, May 16 ^th at 10:00 AM MT at the Mullen Cemetery in Mullen. Reception will follow at the Methodist Church in Mullen. Mr. Marshall passed away on Jan. 6 in Gordon.
