Donna Jean (Biltoft) Dillon was born June 22, 1938.  She was the second daughter of Allen and Laura (Taylor) Biltoft.  Donna grew up on a farm northwest of Ainsworth, NE.  She attended Rural School District #7 through the 8 ^th grade and Ainsworth High School, graduating with the class of 1956.

On February 20, 1958, she was united in marriage to Wilferd Dillon and to this union three children were born, William, Stanley and Donald.

She was baptized December 22, 1970 and confirmed into the Lutheran faith at Ainsworth Zion Lutheran Church on January 31, 1971.

In 1971, she and the three boys moved to O'Neill, NE where she worked at the M & M bakery and Café for 14 ½ years.  In 1989, she moved back to Ainsworth area and in 1995 she moved to Valentine, NE.  She worked at Pine View Good Samaritan Center and Comfort Inn Motel.  In 2006, Donna retired and moved back to Ainsworth, NE.  She eventually moved to South Sioux City, NE in 2016 when her health started to decline.

Donna's greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She enjoyed playing cards and those who played with her knew about her Hoyle rule book.  Many family memories involved her homemade chicken and noodles, pies and home canned peaches.  She was known for her great cooking and always had a meal ready for anyone who stopped in.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Laura Biltoft; sister, Shirley Foose; and great grandson Brooks Arnold.

She is survived by her sons, Bill (Tammy) of Valentine, NE, Stan (Juleen) of Dakota Dunes, SD and Donnie (Kristy) of Lincoln, NE; seven grandchildren, Kasandra (Mike) Girard of Irene, SD, Megan (Derek) Hawthorne of Valentine, NE, Melissa (Brandon) Galvin of Sioux Falls, SD, Morgan (Brad) of Valentine, NE, Caleb Dillon of Sioux Falls, SD, Lindsey Dillon of Lincoln, NE, Miranda Dillon of Lincoln, NE; ten great grandchildren, Broden, Addysen, Micah, Walker, Lincoln, Maggie, Oaklei, Grace, Hadley and Triston; sisters, Loraine Biltoft of Ainsworth, NE and Lois Rahn of Wichita, KS and a host of friends.

Memorial service for Donna Dillon age 81 of South Sioux City, NE and formally of Ainsworth and Valentine will be held on Saturday, Feb. 8 ^rd at 2:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church in Ainsworth.  Inurnment will follow at the Long Pine Cemetery in Long Pine.  Mrs. Dillon passed away on Jan. 27 ^th at St. Luke's Hospital in Sioux City, Iowa.
