Donna Schroeder was born in Meadow Grove, Nebraska on March 5, 1938, to Raymond and Ella Mae O'Banion. She passed away on January 29, 2024, at the age of 85 at the Parkside Manor in Stuart, Nebraska

She attended school and graduated from Meadow Grove.  After graduation she attended a technical school in Minnesota.

Donna married Donald Schroder on October 3, 1959, in Ainsworth, Nebraska.

She kept herself busy with, ranching, hunting and she had a passion for fishing.  But Donna's greatest joy was her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald, and brother, Kay O'Banion.

She is survived by her children Jacqi Witte, Dirk Schroeder, and Scot Schroeder. Grandchildren Colton and Brandon Schroder, Julian and Toby Witte, brother Jerry (Linda) O'Banion, sister Barbara Daniel.

A prayer service and visitation, for Donna Schroeder age 85 of Valentine will held on Friday, Feb. 2, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Sandoz Chapel of the Pines in Valentine.  The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Home for Funerals Chapel in Norfolk, NE.  The burial will follow at the Lutheran Cemetery in Meadow Grove, NE. Mrs. Schroeder passed away on January 29, 2024, at Parkside Manor in Stuart, NE.
