Dorine Mae Rauer was born on February 28, 1945 at Kilgore, NE to Harold and Lillian Rauer. She passed away on June 27 at Pine View Good Samaritan Center in Valentine
Dorine attended Elementary school in Kilgore. After the 8th grade, she stayed home to help her mother around the house.
Later in life Dorine worked various cleaning jobs around Valentine, including at Pizza Hut, Wards Plumbing and Heating and private houses. She loved to collect Dolls, putting together puzzles, looking at family pictures, sending cards and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Valentine Lions Club and the Valentine Senior Center. She also participated in the Special Olympics in Omaha.
Dorine was preceded in death by her parents; Sisters, Shirley Ann Hand and Eldine Yvonne Welker and brother, Larry Lee Rauer. She is survived by her sister, Patty Jean Ernesti of Carter Lake, IA and brother, Wayne Everett Rauer of Laramie, WY.
Funeral service for Dorine Rauer was held on Saturday, July 2 at 10:00 AM at Sandoz Chapel of the Pines in Valentine. Burial followed at the Kilgore Cemetery in Kilgore.
