Hope Delores Kalblinger, age 95 of Valentine, passed away December 3, 2021 at North Platte Care Center. Hope was born on March 6, 1926 in Valentine, NE to Lawrence and Georgia (Taylor) Engles. She grew up in the area and graduated from Valentine High School.

She was married to Clinton William Kalblinger in 1945. To their union three children were born, William Lawrence, Jeanne Delores and Mark Steven.

Hope was devoted to her family and her faith; extending kindness to all she met. She mastered the art of cooking and leaves behind fond memories to those who have gathered at her table.

Hope is survived by her children William (Ruth) Kalblinger of North Platte and Mark (Terry) Kalblinger of Valentine, NE; grandchildren Keesha (Addison) Tolentino, John Kalblinger, Abbey (Nathan) Mulder, Michael (Muriah) Kalblinger and Eric Kalblinger; and 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clinton; parents; daughter Jeanne Delores (Kalblinger) Blaesi; sisters Wynona Freed and Dorothy Flaugh; and brothers Lyle, Norman and Gene Engles.

Funeral service for Hope Kalblinger age 95 of Valentine will be held on Friday, Dec. 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Sandoz Chapel of the Pines in Valentine.  Private Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Valentine.  Visitation will be held 1.5 hour prior to the funeral service.
