Obituary

James Dale Plooster

Was born on June 10 th 1992 in Rosebud, SD to Tim Plooster and Lea Rattling Leaf. Jimmy had three brothers and three sisters. Lucas Good Shield, Kendra Grant, Kourtney Plooster, Ashlyn Plooster, Cobe and Lane Siedschlaw. Jimmy grew up in White River and received all of his education there. His childhood was filled with wonderful memories from camping to Griswald family trips and many weekends of traveling to basketball tournaments. He made life long friends in school and loved being the class clown -just about as often as he could. He excelled in all sports and helped lead the Tigers win two State Basketball Championships in 2008 and 2010. Jimmy's main love was playing football where he received multiple all conference awards. After graduating Jimmy moved onto attend Black Hills State University. Shortly after, Jimmy and Juana Iron Shell welcomed their baby girl Aubrey Rhea Plooster into the world. Jimmy then decided to move home, help his Dad, and become the jack of all trades that he was.

While Jimmy was home he enjoyed fishing and hunting with his brothers, golfing with his dad, being around all his family, smiling and laughing with anybody that crossed his path. He will be remembered by many for the way his gentle heart loved and accepted everyone.

Later on he decided to move him and his family to Sioux City, IA where he received his CDL and became a truck driver. He had a strong work ethic and spent much of his time providing for his family. While working in Sioux City he made several good friends simply by being the Jimmy that he was. His baby boy Noah James was born in June of 2020; one of his greatest joys in life was being a dad.

Jimmy had plans of moving back to White River with his family and starting a small company with his Dad and his brother-in law this year. Before those plans could be set into motion Jimmy suddenly passed away on November 27 th , 2022 in Sioux City, IA.

James Dale Plooster has touched the lives of many people and will continue to leave a legacy of love and selflessness behind. Those we love never truly leave us, there are things that death cannot touch. We love you forever.
