Kenn Ray Remmers was born on August 21, 1944, to Victor C. and Dorothy E. (Johnson) Remmers in Burlington, IA.  He passed away on May 13, 2024, at the Community Memorial Health Center in Burwell, NE at the age of 79.

Kenn attended school in Melvin, IA.  On May 1, 1965, Kenn married Janice Noteboom in Melvin, IA.  To this union, two sons were born, Scott and Toby.

Kenn drove a truck for some time and was also a Nazarene minister.  He loved playing cards, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Kenn was proceeded in death by his parents, and a grandson, Grant.  He is survived by his wife Janice of Valentine, NE; two sons, Scott and wife Tasha of Kilgore, NE, Toby, and wife Diane of Kaylor, SD and one sister, Roxie Willemssen of Loveland, CO.  Also surviving are grandchildren, Victor, Ayden and Shane of Tempe, AZ; step-grandchildren, Amanda Gilliland and her husband Adam of Sioux Falls, SD and their children, Aria, Grayson, Ava and Grant, Travis Murtha and wife Megan of Parkson, SD and their children, Luke and Hattie.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Sandoz Chapel of the Pines is entrusted with service arrangements.
