Kenneth Earl Cochran son of William Joesph and Edna Grace (Meier) Cochran was born January 17, 1927 in Denver, Colorado. He attended elementary school at the Presbyterian Church School and graduated from East High School in Denver. Kenneth was inducted in the United States Air Force on August 11, 1946 and honorably discharged on February 16, 1949. He was a Radar Mechanic serving in Boca Raton, FL.
Kenneth married Doris M. Camm on July 13, 1949 in Denver, Colorado. This union was blessed with two children; James and Micky. Kenneth worked for Resilient Floor Covering & Master Wood Craftsman in Denver. He was a member of Resilient Floor Covering and Tile Installer Union, Local #409, Lyons Club of Colorado and the Presbyterian and later the Methodist Church. He enjoyed wood working, carpentry, fishing, hunting and motorcycle racing.
Kenneth passed away January 14, 2017 at Ponderosa Villa Nursing Home in Crawford, NE. He was preceded in death by his parents Edna and William Cochran, son Micky Dwayne Cochran and sister Gwen Chapin. He is survived by wife Doris of Valentine, son James Wayne Cochran of Valentine, grandchildren Kenny of Houston, TX, Eric, Aaron, and Kelly Cochran of Denver, CO. Also surviving are step grandchildren Ryan Osterlund of Spanaway, WA, Joshua, Christal and Natalie Ruelas of Denver, CO. and great grandchildren; Alex, Sam, Aleia, Davonte, and Kayla Cochran, Quincy, Noah, Brady and Nevaeh Osterlund and Piper and Elijah Ruelas.
Memorial service for Kenneth Cochran age 89 of Valentine will be held on Saturday, Jan 28 at 10:00 AM at the United Methodist Church in Valentine. No visitation will be held.
