Kevin Joe Bennett was born on June 29, 1962 in Valentine Nebraska to Ed and Judy (Hitchings) Bennett. He passed away on November 11, 2020 at the university of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

Kevin attended country grade school near Wood, South Dakota, middle and high school in Valentine where he graduated in 1980.

Kevin joined the Army after high school on June 13, 1980. He proudly served his country and was honorably discharged on June 12, 1983. Kevin returned home to Valentine where he found his calling working for Danielski Farms.

He enjoyed sports, keeping up on current events and being around people. He was very proud of his service to his country. His greatest joy was his love for his niece and nephews.

Kevin is survived by Parents Ed and Judy Bennett, Brothers Troy (Amber) and Darin (Michelle), Niece Brittney Bennett and Nephews Braden and Liam. Also surviving are Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been designated to the Valentine Fire Department or the American Legion Post 90.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 17 ^th at Chapel of the Pines in Valentine.

Inurnment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery near Wood, SD at a later date. Sandoz
