LINCOLN, NE – Kimball "Radar" Grieser of Lincoln, NE passed away Monday, July 16, 2018 at his home with his wife Pam by his side, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was 59 years old.
Radar was born March 9, 1959 at Winner, South Dakota, to his parents Clifford and Adele (Wise) Grieser. He attended elementary school at Mission, South Dakota and graduated from Valentine High School with the class of 1977. Following high school Radar worked at Ford Garage in Valentine, NE prior to moving to Lincoln.
On September 11, 1999, he was united in marriage to Pamela E. Adams at Henry Park in Lincoln, NE. At this union, Radar gained two sons whom he greatly adored.
Radar dedicated his career to Valley Vending Service, where he was employed 20+ years. Through this employment, Radar met many great friends whom he considered family.
Radar loved to spend time with his family, spoil his beloved pets, and watch Nebraska football. Radar was always up for a conversation, advice on fixing a car, or even there to sit down and drink a beer with a friend.
Preceded in death by parents Clifford and Adele Grieser, and brother, Kerry "Zeke" Grieser and great-nephew Isaac Hall.
Survivors include his wife of nearly 19 years, Pamela (Crowell) Grieser, of Lincoln, NE; stepsons Eric (Shelli) Shada of Lincoln, and Joel (Wendee) Masters of Omaha. Brother, David (Judy) of Des Moines, IA, sister, Candy Hall (Ron) of Omaha, NE, brother, Ken (DiAnne) of Seattle, WA, sister Nancy Anderson (Wayne) of Minneapolis, MN, and brother, Damon (Julie) of El Paso, TX; 9 grandchildren, multiple nieces and nephews and more friends than one could count.
Memorials may be given to the family for designation at a later time.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Sandoz Chapel of the Pines in Valentine, NE with Pastor Kurt Busenitz officiating. Interment will be following the service at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Valentine, NE.
