Mildred (Vaughn) Hannah was born on November 15, 1928 at the Sunny Slope Ranch in Cherry County to Jim and Ruby Vaughn. She passed away at Pine View Good Samaritan in Valentine, NE on April 9, 2020 at the age of 91.

She attended grade school in rural Cherry County at country schools then went to Valentine High School for one year. On July 13, 1946 she was united in marriage to Herbert Ray Hannah at Ainsworth, NE.  To this union they were blessed with 3 loving daughters, Sharon, Marie and Beverly Jean who died in infancy.  Mildred liked working on the ranch beside Ray helping with working cattle. She also liked cooking for the hired help.

Mildred's hobbies were: cooking, baking, playing Bingo and playing cards with family and friends. She loved to bake pies! She made the best Sour Cream Raisin Pie according to family and friends. She was a member of the Valentine Senior Center, VFW Women Auxiliary, the United Methodist Women's group, and the United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ray, infant daughter Beverly Jean, brothers Larry and Bud Vaughn, grandson Jason Reagle, great grandson Zachary Reagle, son in laws Bill Koger and Everrett Reagle, in laws Herbert and Birdie Hannah.

Mildred is survived by her daughters: Sharon Koger of Hudson, Colorado and Marie Reagle Mission, SD. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Cheryl (Bill) Chambers, Glenn Wilson (Daniella Molano), Corey Reagle, Candice Reagle, Kristi (Matt) Koger-Clark, James (Tara) Koger, 10 great grandchildren: Peyton, Cruz, Shaya, Jasmine, Lily, Daisy, Elizabeth, Richard, Emerson, and Sydney, two sisters: JoAnn Burr and Joan Kennedy, two sister in laws, and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

There will be a limited viewing at 3pm on Tuesday, April 14,2020 at the Sandoz Chapel of the Pines Valentine, NE. There will be a celebration of life for Mildred at a later date.  Memorials can be made to the family or a place of your choice.

Graveside service for Mildred Hannah age 91 of Valentine will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Valentine.
