He was born on Sept. 20, 1939, to Arthur E. and Helen V. It was there that Milt met Glenda Wobig, a friend of his sister Bytha.  They were both attending Chadron State College.  Glenda and Milt were married on Aug. 31, 1974, in Valentine as he was transferred to Valentine by Johnston Fuel Liners.  In 1980 he purchased his first truck, and the rest was history.  Amsberry trucking was born.  He belonged to the Chadron Elks Club and is still a member today.

Not a church going person he always said God took care of him and rode along on his left knee.  Milt and Glenda fished a lot.  Catching the state Muskie record in 1984.
