Obituary
Norman L. Engles was born July 3, 1934 in Valentine, Nebraska, to Lawrence and Georgia (Taylor) Engles.
He attended school in Valentine up to the 10th grade.
Norman joined the U.S. Navy on July 11, 1951 and was honorably discharged on June 27, 1955. After his military service he returned to Valentine and was a truck driver for Ross Transfer.
Norman was a member of the V.F.W. His greatest joy was catching fish.
He passed away March 27, 2013 at Cherry County Hospital in Valentine. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Wynona Freed, and brothers Lyle and Gene Engles. He is survived by son Randy McFarlen of Page, AZ, sisters Dorothy Flaugh and Hope Kalblinger.
A memorial service will be held in July for Norman Engles.
