Patsy Ann Mansour was born March 6, 1939 in Valentine, Nebraska.  Patsy was the second of three daughters born to Michael and Eva Mansour.  She grew up in Valentine where she attended elementary school and graduated from Valentine High School.

Patsy married Blaine Benson on August 24, 1963 in Broken Bow, NE.  They made their home in Valentine.  Their home was blessed with 3 children Polly, Jerry and Kelly.

She was a wonderful cook and often made Syrian bread for her family.  She loved people and enjoyed entertaining.  Patsy was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church.  She was an avid walker and loved to square dance.  Her greatest love was her family and caring for them.

Patsy passed away at Community Memorial Nursing Home in Burwell, NE at age 82.  She was preceded in death by son Jerry, parents Michael and Eva Mansour, sisters Janet Abdallah and Judy Leach.   She is survived by husband Blaine, daughters Kelly Benson and Polly Taylor.  Also surviving are grandchildren Brody and Rhea Benson and Lindsay and Erin Brock and one great granddaughter Emma Haynes.

Mass of Christian Burial for Patsy Benson age 82 of Valentine will be held on Saturday, Nov. 20 ^th at 10:00 AM at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Valentine.  Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Valentine.  Rosary will be recited on Friday, Nov. 19 at 7:00 PM at the Church in Valentine.  Visitation will be on Friday, Nov. 19 at 2:00 PM at Sandoz Chapel of the Pines.
