Margaret Kathern (Peg) Liberator a longtime resident of Valentine passed away at the Rock County Long Term Care facility in Bassett, Nebraska on Thursday December 30, 2021 at the age of 105 years. She was born on November 30, 1916 to Charles and Jessie (Lake) Martin in Hopwood, Pennsylvania.

Margaret married Americus Liberator on October 12, 1942 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.  They had three sons, Mike, Joe and Anthony (Tony).

She was an active member in The American Legion Woman's Auxiliary for 76 years. She belonged to the Presbyterian Church.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Jessie Martin, her husband, Americus, son Anthony, grandson Damon, and all of her siblings.

She is survived by  sons, Mike of Valentine, NE.,  Joe of Omaha, NE., 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday January 15 at Sandoz Chapel of the Pines in Valentine.  Inurnment will be at a later date.  Reception will be held immediately following the memorial service at the Vets Club in Valentine.
