Rhonda Kay Ann Elliott (Gould) was born to Floyd and Marie Gould on May 12, 1957, in Platte, South Dakota. She passed away peacefully at home in Valentine, Nebraska on April 20, 2025.

Rhonda was a graduate of Todd County High School. She married Jim Elliott on December 17, 1983, at the Cline Trout Farm east of Valentine, Nebraska. Jim and Rhonda had two children and were blessed with four grandchildren.

Rhonda was the manager at the Deer Park Golf Club and spent many years with Brewers Canoers. She was devoted to and enjoyed all she did but the job she loved most was with Grandma's Daycare. She loved being outdoors, especially spending time near water. She loved to camp, fish, and relax at the lake. She also delighted in gardening and golfing. Her favorite activity was spending time with her grandkids. Rhonda was a member of the Saint Nicholas Catholic Church in Valentine, Nebraska.

Rhonda is survived by her husband of 41 years, Jim Elliott of Valentine, Nebraska; daughter, Julie and her husband Josh Bogardus of Woodbine, Iowa; son Christopher Elliott and his wife Sunny of Valentine, Nebraska, and grandchildren Marrisa, Gage, Grayson Bogardus and Stormy Elliott; her sister Kathy Perrett of Ashland, Nebraska, and many more beloved in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Marie Gould (Gau).

Services will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, in Valentine, Nebraska at Saint Nicholas Catholic Church at 11:00 AM with a luncheon to follow at the Parrish Hall. A Celebration of Life will be held at Frederick's Peak Clubhouse that afternoon at 5:00 PM.
