Terry Lee Snyder was born, March 22, 1946, in Valentine, NE, to Ronald and Mary (Linenbrink) Snyder.  He passed away on July 5, 2024, at his home in Valentine at the age of 78.

Terry grew up in the Eli area.  He attended country school there and later attended junior high school in Merriman.  He then attended high school at Curtis School of Technical Agriculture and graduated the 12th grade.

After finishing high school, Terry worked on the family ranch near Eli, NE with his father Ron until the early 80's.  After moving to Valentine, he worked as a truck driver.  He also helped ranchers in the surrounding area, fixing fence, haying and other duties.  Ranching was in his blood and something he always loved.  Terry had many friends and family that he enjoyed spending time with, having coffee and attending family events.  He also enjoyed getting to know and reuniting with friends from his time at Curtis.  He will be greatly missed by all.

Terry is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Tim and nephews, John and Brian Snyder.  He is survived by his siblings, Nancy (Bill) Bunkers of Del Rapids, SD, Helen (Kurt) Hudson of Alliance, NE and Larry (Marlene) Snyder of Alliance, NE.  Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Chris (Sarah) Dinesen, Heather (JT) Conyers, Smantha (Kyle) Daugherty, Evan (Christine) Snyder, Gage Snyder, Nicholas (Abbey) Snyder, Nathaniel (Ashley) Snyder, Toby (Amy) Snyder; and 4 aunts, Sr. Joan Linenbrink, Clara Linenbrink, Varna Stasch and Henri Linenbrink along with many loved cousins.

Funeral service for Terry Snyder age 78 of Valentine will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the Valentine Methodist Church in Valentine.  Visitation will be held on Friday, July 12 at 3:00 PM at Sandoz Chapel of the Pines.  In lieu of flowers, memorials maybe made to the Valentine Methodist Church.
